Brief Biographical Statement
I am a professor in the department of
political science at Central Connecticut State University, New Britain,
CT. I joined the faculty of CCSU in August of 1984 after serving one
year as an assistant professor and another as a post-doctoral fellow in
the department of political science at the University of Georgia,
Athens, Ga. I also served as a visiting professor at Yale University in
the department of Afro-American studies. I received my
undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Michigan, Ann
