This component of the course will give you the opportunity
to study and analyze the causes, costs, management, and outcome of
"peace" in a specific conflict. Each case study should
include to following components for presentation:
 | Identify the timeline of period in the conflict

| Historical background

| Identify the pattern of conflict escalation and evolution. (Some
conflicts may evolve into different types over a period of time--civil
war to international war, for example.

| Identify the causes of the conflict and causes of the change in the
type of conflict
|
| Identify the costs of conflict
|
| Identify the costs of peace, conflict management, or resolution
|
| Identify the evolution of peace, where applicable in a case.
